Let’s wander off the beaten path to experience Alaska’s spectacular beauty. There is no vacation in the world that delivers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure like Alaska.
This adventure was requested by a family member who wants to cross this bucket list destination off her list once and for all. It might seem cold and unforgiving at first glance. Still, we decided to take this adventure in the fall to enjoy the beautiful scenery with its towering glaciers and snow-capped peaks, and to experience the breaking taking Alaska fall foliage. Adventuring in Alaska is all about getting to know this state’s stunning landscape.
Our last family & friends cruise was in April 2022. We sailed out of Los Angeles, cursing to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and beyond. It was a fantastic experience while creating lasting memories and spending quality vacation time with family & friends. This time, we are stirring things up a notch and cruising to Alaska! It promises to be an experience that allows us to reconnect, rejuvenate and relax.
The ship selected for this adventure is the Royal Caribbean, Quantum of the Seas. This ship set the standard for innovation at sea. We will be cruising from Seattle to four scenic ports. Each port offers plenty of options to immerse yourself in the great outdoors. See the full itinerary below.

Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens
We strongly suggest that you travel on a passport valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Click here for information to obtain your U.S. Passport.
If you don’t have a passport, sailing from the U.S. requires a valid driver’s license or a valid Government-issued photo ID, and a certified birth certificate.
United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as it appears on your travel documents.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.
Travel Insurance/Travel Protection
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. In case you have to cancel, a full refund may not be available without travel insurance. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.
Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and more, based on your specific needs. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, we recommend purchasing travel protection at the time of the initial deposit.
Many travel insurance plans offer medical coverage for emergency medical expenses incurred while traveling. This is particularly important for international destinations, as standard health insurance plans sometimes won’t cover medical bills from another country. Also, be aware of the plan’s covered and non-covered reasons for cancellation.
Listed below are three travel protection/insurance providers for your consideration. Note, if you are flying, consider including the cost of your flight along with the cruise package when purchasing your travel insurance. The Royal Caribbean travel protection will only cover the cost of the cruise fare.

Your stateroom is your home base away from home. When the busy day is done, you have danced the night away, and you are ready to settle in for the evening, you’ll head back to your luxurious stateroom. Your options for staterooms are Virtual Balcony Interior, Ocean View, and Ocean View Balcony. All staterooms have a dedicated room steward on duty available to provide complimentary room service. In addition, each room has a private bathroom, soft cozy linens, plenty of closet and drawer space, a television, and an in-room safe for valuables.

Pre-Cruise Stay
If you will be flying into Seattle, it is recommended that you arrive the day before embarkation (Sunday, September 1, 2024). This will eliminate any concerns regarding delayed or canceled flights and not getting to the port on time.
We are currently negotiating with a major franchise hotel in Seattle for a group rate for a one-night stay. Transfers to the hotel from the airport, transfers to the port from the hotel, and transfers from the port to the airport will be provided. The earliest recommended flight is on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at 12:30 PM. Additional information regarding restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing opportunities will be provided to enhance your Seattle pre-cruise experience.

When making your reservation you can choose to pay in full or select our convenient payment plan. If you choose a monthly payment plan, you will receive monthly invoices when your payments are due. Monthly payments are required to keep your reservation current and are due on the first day of each month.
You will have the opportunity to opt-in to our automatic billing program. It’s convenient and free. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to process your payment. You will receive an email reminder before payments are processed.
The final payment is due on June 1, 2024
