Junior Auxiliary of Slidell (JAS) First Annual
Fundraiser on the High Seas
JAS members work hundreds of hours to serve thousands of children, families and seniors each year in the Slidell area with primary focus on serving children. In the spirit of helping our community, we have decided to step up our fundraising efforts by cruising the high seas to raise funds to meet the immediate needs of our upcoming service projects.
This family-friendly event is open to all including, Provisionals, Actives, Life & Associate members, and friends of JAS.
Carnival Cruise Line will support the fundraising efforts of JAS by making a donation to the organization. As a 501 c3 organization, JAS must meet the minimum requirements established by Carnival Cruise Line.
It’s time to relax, unwind, and enjoy all of the many amenities this fantastic cruise ship has to offer while supporting the Junior Auxiliary of Slidell.

Travel Notes
Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens
Sailing from the U.S. requires a valid driver’s license or a valid Government-issued photo ID, and certified birth certificate, or a valid U.S. passport. We strongly suggest that you travel on a passport valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Click here for information to obtain your U.S. Passport.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as it appears on your travel documents.
COVID-19 Protocol
Carnival Cruise Line announced new COVID-19 guidelines which will be in effect starting September 6, 2022.
Vaccinated guests must provide evidence of their vaccination status prior to embarkation. Pre-cruise testing is no longer required.
Unvaccinated guests are no longer required to apply for a vaccine exemption. Unvaccinated guests or those who do not provide proof of vaccination must present the results of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within three days of embarkation.
Guests under the age of five years are exempt from vaccination and testing requirements.
Travel Insurance/Travel Protection
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.
Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Cancel for Any Reason, Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, and more, based on your specific needs. Any cancellation without proper coverage will be based on the supplier’s cancellation policy.
Carnival Cruise Line offers a Travel Protection Plan that is underwritten by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. Click here for details. Contact the customer service department with any questions at 800-331-2796. You will have the option to add travel protection to your package at check-out. Payment for the plan will be added at registration. If you decide not to purchase the plan at registration, you will be sent an email prior to final payment to purchase the plan.

Your stateroom is your home base away from home. When the busy day is done, and you have danced the night away, and you are ready to settle in for the evening, you’ll head back to your luxurious stateroom. Your options of staterooms are interior, ocean view, and balcony. All staterooms have a dedicated room steward on duty, available to provide complimentary room service. In addition, each room has a private bathroom, soft cozy linens, plenty of closet and drawer space, a television, and an in-room safe for valuables.

The deposit of $100.00 per person is due no later than September 15, 2022.
When making your reservation you can choose to pay in full or select our convenient monthly payment plan. If you choose the monthly payment plan, you will receive monthly notices when your payments are due.
Monthly payment schedule:
The first payment is due October 15, 2022
The second payment is due November 15, 2022
The final payment is due December 5, 2022
